How to Use the BC-325-36T Durst Battery Charger

Step 1: Position the Charger
Wheel the BC-325-36T to a flat, safe surface near the vehicle or battery system you need to charge or jump start.

Step 2: Set the Voltage
Use the voltage selector switch to choose 12V, 24V, or 36V depending on the battery system you’re working with.

Step 3: Connect the Cables
Attach the red clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal and the black clamp to the negative (−) terminal. Ensure a secure and correct connection.

Step 4: Select the Charge Current
Choose the desired current using the 4-position current control switch. Higher amperage speeds up charging but generates more heat—adjust accordingly.

Step 5: Monitor Charging
Observe the large analogue amp meter to track current flow and ensure the charger is operating correctly.

Step 6: Jump Start (if needed)
To perform a jump start, switch to the jump start mode and wait for the unit to reach full charge assistance. Once ready, start the vehicle as normal.

Step 7: Finish and Disconnect
When charging is complete, turn off the charger and remove the clamps, starting with the black (negative) one.

Step 8: Store Safely
Wheel the charger back to storage, coil the cables, and ensure it’s unplugged and safely positioned.

FAQs about the BC-325-36T Durst Battery Charger

What type of vehicles can this charger support?
The BC-325-36T is suitable for cars, trucks, boats, forklifts, and industrial machinery with 12V, 24V, or 36V electrical systems. It’s commonly used in workshops, marine yards, and heavy equipment service areas.
